Track applications without spreadsheet chaos
A lightweight system for following up on time, spotting what's working, and never double-applying.
Five columns are enough
Company, role, date applied, source link, and status. Anything more becomes maintenance instead of momentum.
The source link matters most: when a role disappears from an index, you want the original posting to check whether it closed or moved.
Follow up on a rhythm
Seven days after applying with no response, one short note. Fourteen days, move the row to closed and keep going.
Review weekly: which kinds of roles convert to replies? Double down there instead of spraying more applications.
