About the role
- Think Academy U.S. is seeking a Remote Math Tutor to deliver personalized one-on-one math instruction for students in Grades 5-8.
- The tutor will support project testing and ongoing curriculum development using the U.S. Common Core State Standards framework.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 5-8 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework
- Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time
- Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications
- Majors in Math, Education, or related fields
- Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese
