About the role
- The Alteryx Reconciliation Specialist will design, configure, and implement reconciliation workflows within a financial services environment. This role focuses on data transformation, exception management, and break analysis to ensure reliable, production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure Alteryx reconciliation workflows using trade, settlement, and CSD/Equator data feeds.
- Implement matching rules, reconciliation logic, tolerances, break identification, and exception outputs.
- Build and configure data transformations, mappings, and interfaces within the existing Alteryx environment.
- Support reconciliation testing and investigate breaks to identify data, mapping, or matching issues.
- Optimize workflow performance and support production-readiness activities.
Requirements
- Practical experience designing, building, or configuring workflows using Alteryx.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, including matching logic, tolerances, exceptions, and break management.
- Experience working with financial-services transaction data, including trade and settlement data.
- Ability to analyze data issues, investigate reconciliation breaks, and translate findings into effective solutions.
- Experience supporting testing, performance optimization, and the transition of solutions into production.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of CSD, securities settlement, or post-trade processes.
- Experience working with Equator data or comparable reconciliation/data platforms.
- Understanding of complex data mappings, transformations, and system interfaces.
- Experience delivering reconciliation solutions within banking, capital markets, or another regulated financial-services environment.
- Previous experience working within consulting or multidisciplinary delivery teams.
