About the role
- The Associate Principal, Procurement Innovation Supplier Programs will manage supplier onboarding processes and optimize supplier programs within the Airbnb financial system.

Responsibilities
- Manage the supplier onboarding process, including tool orchestration and cross-functional support.
- Maintain effective supplier risk oversight measures and establish critical supplier programs.
- Develop process improvement recommendations based on current procurement practices.
- Execute transformational initiatives to align supplier experience with stakeholder business needs.
- Oversee and maintain supplier onboarding programs to meet organizational commercial needs.
- Monitor supplier compliance to document operational health and improvements.
- Communicate progress, barriers, risks, and benefits to business and management levels.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for system and operational enhancements.
- Manage project execution and tool implementation, providing subject matter advice.
Requirements
- Degree or advanced degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience managing procurement programs and/or leading preferred supplier programs.
- Experience managing supplier onboarding and risk management tools and processes.
- Expertise in implementing enterprise-wide systems.
- Experience using data, automation, or AI tools to support decision-making.
- Skilled in building relationships in a cross-functional environment.
- Proven success in influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
