About the role
- We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in software testing.
- The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing (SQL), along with exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications.
- Perform Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT Testing to ensure product quality.
- Validate APIs using testing tools and perform backend validation through SQL queries.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners in an Agile environment.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release activities.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and test management.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in Software Testing.
- Strong experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT Testing.
- Good knowledge of Selenium Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to automation framework development.
- Experience working in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domains.
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern QA practices.
