Oportun is seeking a Bilingual English and Spanish Member Loyalty Representative to create and generate a rewarding and unique member service experience.
The primary focus of the role is to listen, help, and connect with people at all touchpoints, including in stores and through personal community outreach activities.
Team members educate members and communities about inclusive, affordable financial services to help them build a better financial future.

Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
Seamlessly process all transactions while following company policies & procedures and protecting members' information.
Work as a team or independently while exceeding daily goals in lending and servicing activities.
Inform and educate potential members about Oportun's services by engaging in outreach efforts more than 50% of the time.
Build relationships with local businesses and speak with business owners and their employees.
Conduct outreach efforts at local flea markets, community events, and partner locations to increase awareness and capture leads.
Actively engage with people at and around retail locations, encouraging store visits and assisting with applications.
Support community outreach and marketing events by passing out flyers and educating the local community.
Perform light housekeeping to keep the work area and store location inviting and presentable.
Use a computer intermittently for administrative tasks and member servicing.

Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
Must be available to work weekends and be flexible with a rotating work schedule based on store needs.
Must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Must be willing and able to work outdoors year-round to identify new sales opportunities and promote company products.
Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, as needed.
Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment such as phones, scanners, and iPads.
Ability to organize and file paper documents.

Travel required between designated work locations including outreach activities within a reasonable commuting distance.
