AnaVation is seeking a Cyber Security SME to lead the overall security defense and monitoring of an enterprise environment across multiple security domains.
The role focuses on strengthening defensive posture and operational readiness to protect against external cyber attacks and insider threats.

Respond to alerts from HBSS and administer security IPS/IDS tools.
Address triggers and events from SIEM systems and respond to incident response events.
Generate reports related to the state of network security and threat activity.
Support the establishment and maintenance of the CMDB for asset and configuration tracking.
Provide support to an organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program.
Conduct cyber-attack analysis and Battle Damage Assessments.
Detect and mitigate insider threats.
Provide security certification test and evaluation of assets, vulnerability management, and response.
Document network schemas and cyber operation tool solutions.
Brief cyber risk, defensive posture, and operational priorities to senior leadership.

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
BA/BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification.
Minimum of 7 years related professional work experience.
Minimum 5 years working in the fields of CND and incident response.
Experience managing IPS/IDS tools and conducting ACAS scans.
Experience conducting incident response actions from SIEM alerts.
Experience using Tableau for data reporting.
Experience leading defensive cyber operations teams or coordinating multi-platform CND activities.
Ability to correlate and analyze security data across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
