Leading the evolution of our SDKs is a technically demanding and highly collaborative effort.
You’ll work with language experts to deliver cutting-edge observability products across our 9 supported languages, with industry leading performance and a world class developer experience.
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager who cares as much about technical excellence as empowering other engineering teams.

Lead, grow, and develop a team of roughly 4-8 library engineers — coaching, giving direct feedback, and empowering senior ICs as technical leaders owning outcomes
Own team delivery and productivity: planning, milestones, reviews
Collaborate with Product teams to reshape and grow our platform capabilities to enable product teams
Define and deliver industry leading, open-source, zero-touch APM instrumentation
Stay technically close to the work — apply strong technical judgment, set a high standard for quality, contribute code where it matters most, and keep quality and architecture high
Build strong relationships and drive alignment across the language teams and product, backend
Shape team identity and culture

An experienced Engineering Manager with a track record of shipping
A strong and empathetic leader with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams to deliver high quality software
An ability pivot from high level product narratives to highly technical implementation details
You have significant programming experience in one or more of: Go, C, Rust
