About the role
- HackerRank is seeking a Creative Content Lead for HackerRank Films, an in-house studio in Indiranagar, Bangalore.
- This role involves telling the story of how the economy is shaping up with AI and HackerRank's role in it across channels including HackerRank, Hackonomics, and the CEO's personal voice.
- You will lead a small team of 1 to 2 writers and a pool of freelancers while setting the bar for voice and taste.
Responsibilities
- Write long-form well researched pieces.
- Write X posts with a hook and major compelling points with a clear rationale.
- Write video scripts for Hackonomics that earn the first two seconds.
- Write founder posts that sound exactly like the founder, taking genuinely technical ideas, agents, assessments, and the economics of AI hiring and making them land for engineers and CEOs without getting the tech wrong.
- Lead a small team of 1 to 2 writers and a pool of freelancers.
- Set the bar for voice and taste.
Requirements
- Write well about tech, such as dev tools, AI, or engineering culture.
- Have range to produce a 1,200-word essay, a 12-word post, and a 30-second script in the same week.
- Have taste to know how to cut a routine product update and lead with details developers would stop scrolling for.
- Use AI tools well and be honest about it, with Claude Code as a default and the ability to explain where it helped and where you overruled it.
