About the role
- The Data Analyst for Global Growth will partner with the global organization to drive international expansion and growth.
- The role involves designing and shipping experiments, owning data pipelines, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to establish success metrics.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship experiments to drive international expansion.
- Own data pipelines and collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish success metrics.
- Track progress in helping new users go live and empowering existing users to sell globally.
- Extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Translate complex business goals into clear analytical frameworks.
- Build scalable dashboards and craft data narratives.
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic insights, benchmarks, and analyses.
- Build self-service tooling to empower stakeholder teams.
- Provide training to stakeholder teams to improve data literacy and autonomous reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelors + 8 years, Masters + 6 years, or PhD + 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Scala or Python for data pipeline development.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate results and drive impact.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Flyte.
- Experience with distributed data frameworks such as Spark to write and debug data pipelines.
- Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate model development, analysis, and coding.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and dashboards.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic insights.
- Ability to enable stakeholders by building self-service tooling and providing training.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.
- Understanding of development processes and best practices like engineering standards, code reviews, and testing.
- Strong statistical knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Experience creating leadership-level reporting, such as QBRs and MBRs.
