- Wildlife is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Insights team in São Paulo to transform petabytes of player data into actionable product decisions. You will work embedded with product teams to optimize game economies, matchmaking, and content through experimentation and advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
- Apply experimentation, advanced statistics, and the scientific method to test hypotheses and iterate on games.
- Analyze large and complex player datasets to impact product strategy, player retention, and monetization.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to solve open-ended business questions.
- Optimize game economy, matchmaking, and live content customization.
- Incorporate agentic AI and modern tools into daily workflows to automate tasks.
- Build high-quality data products, frameworks, and tools to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Practical experience applying statistical techniques including experimentation design, A/B testing, and predictive modeling.
- Proven ability to analyze player behavior and translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
- Comfort using AI tools such as LLMs or coding assistants to automate tasks.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly in written English.
