About the role
- As a Deal Intelligence Analyst at Cloudflare, you will be the analytical engine driving the transition to a data-centric and AI-augmented Deal Desk.
- You will design data systems and executive dashboards that allow deal architects to analyze complex deal terms, protect margins, and close large commitment deals with unprecedented velocity.
- Sitting within the Finance function, you will leverage Cloudflare's Developer Platform and standard data warehousing tools to extract raw CRM and CPQ data and integrate it into AI workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build Advanced Dashboards & Analytics by designing and maintaining executive dashboards and self-serve reporting systems.
- Transform Ideas into Reality by working with stakeholders to refine ideas and goals into automated queries.
- Drive Strategic Margin Analysis by partnering closely with Finance, Infrastructure, and Deal Desk leadership to uncover insights that ensure quoting strategies align with margin preservation goals.
- Develop Data Pipelines by applying data engineering skills to build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines extracting messy data from Salesforce, CPQ, and billing systems.
- Power AI Workflows by assisting in integrating structured deal data into Deal Desk tools to help automate routine approvals and surface real-time pricing optimizations.
- Data Storytelling & Enablement by translating complex datasets into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a technical RevOps role, with a strong emphasis on full-stack data problem solving.
- Experience incorporating data into AI workflows, utilizing LLM orchestration frameworks, or building predictive models.
- Expert-level SQL and deep proficiency in modern data visualization and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Sigma, PowerBI).
- Strong programming skills in Python (or TypeScript) with hands-on experience building ELT/ETL pipelines, interacting with APIs, and cleaning raw data.
- Experience designing analytical data models specifically tailored for financial and SaaS business analysis (e.g., margins, discount rates, ARR, NRR).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and an interest in edge computing/serverless architectures (Cloudflare Workers, R2, D1).
- Domain expertise in CRM data structures (especially Salesforce custom objects), CPQ complexities, and the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical data systems and strategic Finance operations.
