About the role
- We're looking for a Design Engineer with strong visual taste to help drive our creative initiatives across web and brand.
- In this role, you will help communicate Linear's story—what we're building and why it matters—as part of our internal creative agency: the Magic Team.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for building complex and interactive UI web/app experiences
- Build beautiful, responsive websites, landing pages, and internal tools
- Implement creative animations and interactions in code
- Explore visual design in Figma and translate it to web-native experiences
Requirements
- Eye for good design
- Strong frontend engineering skills
- Experience building end-to-end websites and landing pages
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience using agentic coding tools as part of the design process (from exploring ideas to building production-quality interactions)
- A portfolio or Twitter profile showcasing a range of technical skills, a creative use of code, and prototyping skills
