About the role
- The Engineering Manager for the Product Platform team will lead a group of engineers to build and scale Addepar's core engineering capabilities.
- This role focuses on architecting cross-cutting solutions, including decoupled authorization, centralized audit tracking, and high-performance search infrastructure.
- The position involves driving technical direction, managing team performance, and collaborating across departments to deliver high-impact platform strategies.
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction for cross-cutting products across Addepar.
- Collaborate with teams from various departments to implement platform strategies.
- Build and manage a team of software engineers.
- Ensure flawless and timely execution of deliverables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners across Addepar.
- Contribute to shaping the program of product features, technical debt reduction, and scalability improvements.
- Coach and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Deliver solutions for clients and drive software delivery.
- Improve engineering processes, including agile practices, estimation, and project planning.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience.
- Experience leading software engineering teams, preferably in a platform engineering context.
- Experience managing software projects throughout the SDLC.
- Legal authorization to work in Poland on the first day of employment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience or interest in financial technology.
