- Senior Enterprise Systems Developer - Order-to-Cash & Record-to-Report (O2C/R2R)

About the role
- The Senior Enterprise Systems Developer will serve as the primary technical owner for financial operations systems, specifically focusing on Order-to-Cash (O2C), Revenue Management, and Record-to-Report (R2R) ecosystems.
- This role involves managing application administration, designing complex system integrations, and leading AI-driven initiatives to optimize financial workflows and month-end close processes.
- The developer will partner closely with Finance and Accounting leadership to ensure scalable architecture and strict adherence to SOX compliance and data governance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary subject-matter expert and developer for the O2C and R2R technology stack including NetSuite, Zuora RevPro, and Oracle Fusion.
- Manage user provisioning, complex role-based access control (RBAC), and security settings for financial systems.
- Monitor application performance and reliability, managing incident workflows to meet SLAs during month-end and quarter-end close periods.
- Design, build, and deploy custom system enhancements, automated billing schedules, journal entry automations, and API integrations.
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and governance of native AI features within the financial stack.
- Partner with Finance teams to translate business requirements into sophisticated system solutions and automated workflows.
- Maintain scalable system architectures supporting high-volume recurring billing and multi-entity global consolidations.
- Spearhead Quarterly Access Reviews (UAR) and ensure strict Segregation of Duties (SoD) across financial operations.
- Ensure all custom scripts and AI features adhere to SOX compliance and ASC 606 reporting standards.
- Maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation, process maps, and business continuity plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise systems development and administration with a focus on Financial ERPs.
- Proven experience configuring, administrating, and developing in NetSuite, Zuora RevPro, and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Strong understanding of system integration logic (REST/SOAP APIs) and data flows across QTC, O2C, and R2R ecosystems.
- Extensive experience working in a strict SOX-compliant public company environment.
- Deep understanding of core O2C, Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), and R2R business processes.
- Ability to manage quarterly access reviews and define Segregation of Duties for accounting operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical architecture and financial outcomes.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with scripting languages native to the platforms, such as NetSuite SuiteScript.
