The Food Services Specialist supports the SpaceX Hospitality team by providing snacks, daily meals, and event services to employees and visitors.
This temporary role requires a team-oriented individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for food safety and customer service.

Set up, maintain, and clean workstations, dining areas, and storage spaces.
Perform cleaning and maintenance on departmental tools and food service equipment.
Complete daily record keeping, tasks, and opening/closing checklists.
Meet time and quality standards set by leadership while working with urgency.
Engage customers, fulfill orders, and communicate menu changes.
Assist with catering and event requests.
Adhere to proper safety guidelines and food safety/sanitation practices.
Support proper product rotation, storage, and delivery.
Follow stocking routes, track inventory, and receive/distribute products.
Participate in the training of additional Hospitality roles.

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
1+ years of experience in food preparation, customer service, or other food services support role.
Must have or obtain TX Food Handlers card.
Valid state issued driver’s license.
Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime, weekends and holidays.
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to conform to ITAR requirements.
Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
Physical ability to push/pull up to 50lbs and lift/carry up to 25lbs.
Physical ability to perform overhead reaching, kneeling, crouching, and twisting for up to 6 hours per day.
Ability to work at temperatures over 80 degrees for up to 3 hours per day.

3+ years of experience in food preparation, customer service, or other food services support roles.
Previous work experience in a high-volume output environment.
Previous work experience in team settings.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office primarily).
Familiarity with allergen identification and common dietary restrictions.
