About the role
- The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse or distribution center. This role supports the Operations team in managing a worldwide distribution network to authenticate and fulfill orders for a global marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas
- Read production schedules, customer orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved or gathered
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
- Use equipment such as an RF Gun to find and pick products for orders
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to process orders and restock the facility
- Assemble customer orders from stock and convey them to packing or shipping departments
- Inspect products for defects prior to packing
- Enter and maintain inventory records in the computer
- Prepare parcels for mailing
- Clean warehouse area and perform routine housekeeping
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to perform operations using units of American currency, weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to multitask
