About the role
- Addepar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team in Edinburgh.
- The team builds AI-powered data products and workflow solutions that unlock transparency, efficiency, and insight in private market investments.
- Engineers work on distributed services used across the entire ADM engineering stack.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain engineering solutions to solve complex problems; write well-designed, testable code.
- Independently deliver high-value projects from design through delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers on product requirements iterations, design feasibility and user feedback.
- Learn and promote best engineering practices.
- Document software functionality, system design, and project plans.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide clear and constructive guidance.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders from other teams to resolve technical issues or coordinate dependencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Extensive software engineering experience
- Track record of leading technical initiatives from design through delivery
