About the role
- As a Game Producer on the Wild Rift Gameplay team, you will lead the production and delivery of gameplay initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to turn product goals into high-quality player experiences.
- You will establish clear plans, manage dependencies, identify and mitigate delivery risks, and guide work through development, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end production and delivery for gameplay initiatives, from requirements and strategic alignment through design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
- Translate product and gameplay priorities into actionable delivery plans with clear scope, milestones, ownership, dependencies, decision points, and launch criteria, aligning commitments with team capacity.
- Establish and facilitate effective production practices, including project planning, milestone reviews, risk assessments, launch readiness reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, blockers, dependencies, and unresolved decisions; drive mitigation and escalation while maintaining clear visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and delivery health for team leadership and stakeholders.
- Partner with Product Owners, Game Designers, and cross-functional teams to align product intent, design priorities, implementation requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
- Coordinate execution across Riot teams, external development partners, disciplines, and regions, establishing clear ownership, communication paths, and accountability.
- Evaluate and manage tradeoffs across scope, schedule, quality, resources, and team sustainability; recommend phased delivery, contingency plans, or adjustments when needed.
- Continuously improve development workflows, production processes, and team operating practices using delivery metrics, team feedback, and post-launch learnings to improve predictability, effectiveness, and sustainable delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in game development, game production, program management, project management, or a related field, including experience leading delivery across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience applying project management fundamentals, including scope, scheduling, cost, quality, risk, dependency management, and launch readiness.
- Experience selecting and applying appropriate planning tools, methodologies, workflows, and project management practices based on team and project needs.
- Experience maintaining and improving production processes, team operating practices, and project management frameworks.
- Experience navigating ambiguity, identifying and mitigating delivery risks, resolving blockers, and establishing clear plans and processes for complex initiatives.
- Experience communicating project status, facilitating cross-functional alignment, resolving stakeholder dependencies, and influencing decisions across teams without direct authority.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience managing production and delivery for a complete gameplay module or player-facing gameplay system, ideally in a live-service, mobile, multiplayer, or frequently updated game.
- Experience collaborating with co-development or external development partners across companies or regions; professional working proficiency in both Chinese and English is a plus.
- Experience using delivery metrics, stakeholder feedback, and post-launch outcomes to improve production processes, planning effectiveness, and team performance.
