About the role
- The Housekeeping House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas and supporting the housekeeping team.
- This role involves stocking linen rooms, delivering guest request items, and assisting with heavy lifting and room maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Keep guest corridors neat, vacuumed, and dusted.
- Clean and maintain mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators, and doors.
- Sweep, mop, and dust service elevator landings, stairwells, and linen storage rooms.
- Move clean linen racks to guest floors and stock linen storage rooms and armoires.
- Empty trash and remove dirty linen from guest room floors.
- Deliver guest request items such as irons, ironing boards, cribs, and roll-aways.
- Remove linen and trash from rooms, and clean and disinfect bathrooms.
- Report defects in guest rooms or throughout the hotel.
- Assist housekeepers with moving furniture, turning mattresses, and high dusting.
- Maintain knowledge of property amenities and assist guests as needed.
Requirements
- Basic verbal communication skills.
