- Oversee the IP notice-and-takedown program, including partnering with Trust and Safety, Developer Relations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve escalations and align on decisions, refining related legal guidance and policy, and counseling feature launches on Roblox’s IP Platform.
- Drive strategy and execution with respect to on-platform enforcement initiatives and advise on new launches with respect to platform liability issues (e.g., DMCA, EU Digital Services Act).
- Build and update playbooks, templates, and policies to streamline internal IP team projects, portfolio management, and company-wide programs.
- Support initiatives and strategies to protect hard IP.
- Provide IP training to cross-functional partners.
- Remain up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and evolving industry standards to provide sound legal advice.
- Tackle any additional incoming questions to the legal team that you are interested in!
Requirements
- 3 - 5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably a combination of law firm and in-house experience at a consumer-facing technology company.

- Previous experience counseling on platform liability in the tech industry.
- A track record of educating internal stakeholders, translating complex concepts, and advising on risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong business-oriented judgment and the ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and provide advice that is creative, practical, and legally acceptable, taking into account the needs and objectives of the business.
