About the role
- The Member of Technical Staff II will develop containerized microservices for a distributed multi-tenant system that processes real-time network telemetry from public clouds.

Responsibilities
- Develop containerized microservices for a distributed multi-tenant system.
- Process data, real-time events, and network telemetry from multiple public clouds.
- Design services and defend architecture before peers.
- Mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns.
- Write code primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL.
- Own critical features and subsystems throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage operational aspects of the system to ensure software supportability.
- Ensure code quality through developer testing and functional/integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management to review and refine requirements.
- Interact with stakeholders to understand fundamental customer problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API/programming level.
- Experience in Go and SQL.
- Experience with REST API clients.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls.

- Master’s degree

- Experience delivering containerized services using Kubernetes

Workplace
