The Platform Infrastructure Engineer builds and operates Menlo Security's infrastructure platform on a cloud-native stack.
This role involves managing core infrastructure services across GCP and AWS using Infrastructure as Code and AI-assisted development tools.
The engineer will join a globally distributed team focused on security-first design, observability, and multi-region resilience.

Design, deploy, and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP and AWS across development, staging, and production environments.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform modules and Spacelift.
Provision networking, compute, storage, and security components.
Build and maintain observability solutions using Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir, and OTel collectors.
Manage certificate lifecycle, DNS automation, ingress controllers, and service mesh networking with Cilium.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Security teams on capacity planning and architectural decisions.
Identify and eliminate toil through automation, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted coding tools.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and drive post-incident reviews.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Go.
Understanding of network topologies and communication protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, UDP, and TLS.
Kubernetes expertise including cluster administration, RBAC, networking, workload management, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services including GKE, VPC networking, Cloud DNS, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, IAM, and Workload Identity.
Understanding of how to use LLM-based code-assist tools to build and troubleshoot software.
