About the role

  • ZoomInfo is hiring a Principal Product Manager to own datasets end to end, spanning data sourcing, building and resolving, surface delivery, pricing, packaging, and revenue generation.
  • The role involves acting as the internal subject matter expert on these datasets, the data sources, the competitive landscape, and customer use cases.
  • This position requires working closely with strategic customers and sales teams to shape deals and package datasets into workflows for strategic verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Define dataset scope, target audience, and source data from public records, partner licensing, and extraction/classification.
  • Set the bar for coverage, accuracy, and entity resolution against ZoomInfo's company and contact graph.
  • Partner with data engineering and platform engineering to deliver datasets out of the warehouse, into the GTM Data Store, and live across APIs, MCP, and applications.
  • Write requirements, define use case queries, own testing, and drive handoffs.
  • Own pricing and packaging, determining how datasets show up in the price book, licensing models, supplemental terms, and bundling.
  • Enable product-led and sales-led motions by making datasets discoverable in-product and building sales enablement content, reference guides, use cases, and positioning.
  • Work strategic deals with sales, meeting with customers to understand their needs and shape datasets and offers.
  • Build solutions by packaging multiple datasets into cohesive workflows tailored for specific vertical buyers.
  • Prioritize a portfolio of datasets based on revenue potential, customer pull, and value added to core data.
  • Collaborate across data quality, engineering, pricing, legal, and marketing teams to move datasets forward.

Requirements

  • Commercially minded with experience owning a number or being close enough to influence prioritization and pricing/packaging decisions.
  • Heavy customer-facing background in enterprise product management, solutions consulting, professional services, or a customer-facing role at a data company.
  • Experience building data solutions by taking multiple datasets and turning them into a product or workflow for a specific market.
  • Experience across the product management lifecycle including discovery, requirements, engineering collaboration, launch, enablement, and pricing.
  • Data fluency including the ability to work in SQL, understanding of entity resolution, and trade-offs between coverage, accuracy, and freshness.
