About the role
- The Tech Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and attracting top engineering talent to support Datadog's growth.
- This role serves as the primary point of contact for candidates, managing the full-lifecycle recruiting process and representing the company brand.
Responsibilities
- Find qualified dev eng talent via sourcing, job posts, and referrals
- Screen candidates to ensure qualifications match open roles
- Collaborate with leadership to design or streamline interview processes
- Ensure follow up and closure for all interviewed candidates
- Negotiate compensation with qualified candidates
- Enhance recruitment processes through training interview teams
- Leverage Greenhouse to track candidate progress and maintain data for reporting
- Ensure candidates have an excellent interview experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-lifecycle Technical recruiting in-house or in a staffing agency
- Ability to identify where top talent lives
- Autonomous with the ability to work independently on multiple positions
- Exceptional at selling value proposition, negotiating, and closing candidates
- Skilled at operating with a sense of urgency
- Ability to navigate an ever-changing process
