Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Security Manager – Netherlands to serve as the primary security authority and designated Corporate Security Officer (Beveiligingsambtenaar - BVA).
This foundational role directly oversees the security accreditation of the new Netherlands facility and establishes the sovereign Dutch defense security framework from the ground up.
The role maintains a direct reporting line to the Netherlands Board of Directors as the trusted advisor on national security posture, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Lead and execute the end-to-end process to obtain and maintain formal Dutch Ministry of Defence (MOD) Facility Security Clearance (FSC) / ABDO accreditation for Anduril’s new Netherlands site.
Act as the formal, dedicated Security Officer (Beveiligingsambtenaar) for Anduril NL, holding statutory accountability for defense security operations and serving as the primary liaison to the MIVD.
Maintain a direct reporting line to the Netherlands Board of Directors and provide regular executive briefings on threat vectors, regulatory compliance, risk postures, and facility readiness.
Design, implement, and run the personnel security apparatus, owning security onboarding, vetting submissions (VGB), continuous aftercare, role transfers, and off-boarding processes.
Conduct NL-specific security investigations, manage incident response, assess insider threat vectors, and execute required regulatory reporting under Dutch MOD rules and internal corporate standards.
Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Dutch defense regulations (ABDO), state-secret protection frameworks, and applicable European Union security directives.
Establish a pragmatic, modern security culture across Anduril NL by developing and delivering localized Dutch security training.
Partner closely with regional, international, and US/UK security leadership to harmonize global security policies and enable international data and technology collaboration.

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Law, International Relations, Criminology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
8+ years of progressive security leadership experience within the Dutch defense sector, intelligence community, military, or a cleared defense prime operating in the Netherlands.
Demonstrated experience preparing, certifying, and maintaining physical sites to obtain Dutch Ministry of Defence (MOD) Facility Security Clearances (FSC) under ABDO regulations.
Direct experience performing the duties of, or working alongside, a designated Beveiligingsambtenaar (BVA) interfacing directly with the MIVD.
Proven expertise in leading complex personnel security vetting (VGB), corporate security investigations, and insider threat programs.
Demonstrated executive presence with experience briefing and advising corporate Boards of Directors, legal counsel, and military officials.
Full professional working proficiency / fluency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal).
Must currently hold, or be immediately obtain and maintain, the highest level of Dutch national security clearance (Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar - VGB).

Prior service as a security officer or intelligence professional within the Dutch Ministry of Defence, MIVD, or AIVD.
Experience establishing sovereign defense compliance programs for a foreign-headquartered multinational technology or defense company.
Familiarity with NATO security classifications and bilateral international security agreements.
