About the role
- Capco is seeking a Senior React Developer to join their Technology, Product & Engineering practice in Paris.
- The role involves developing and evolving modern, high-performance web applications for clients in the financial sector.
- You will work within a multidisciplinary international team to design scalable frontend architectures with a strong focus on web accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React 19 and TypeScript 7.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of an internal component library based on React Aria.
- Implement web accessibility standards throughout the development lifecycle, from design to code reviews.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to integrate Figma designs and develop interfaces.
- Manage interactions with Java backend APIs.
- Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes in collaboration with DevOps teams.
- Participate in architectural discussions within an international Agile environment.
Requirements
- Confirmed experience in frontend development with React, TypeScript (6 or 7), and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of component architectures, state management, and complex web applications.
- Expertise in designing reusable and accessible UI components.
- Mastery of web accessibility standards, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and ARIA.
- Experience with automated frontend testing practices.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple development teams.
- Professional proficiency in English (C1 level).
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with React Router, TanStack Query, and React Aria.
- Mastery of Vitest and Playwright testing tools.
- Experience with AWS and GitLab CI/CD environments.
- Experience with Java API interactions.
- Knowledge of Specification-Driven Development (SDD) practices.
- Familiarity with generative AI development tools.
