Supercell is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Game Tester to join the Shanghai Studio and take ownership of quality for Clash Royale's new game modes.
You will be the QA owner across the portfolio, defining testing methods, planning and scaling resources, and making the final call on whether quality meets the desired player experience.

Own end-to-end quality for Clash Royale's new game modes from early prototype through live release and iteration.
Work with Core Tech QA on the technical layer beneath modes while focusing on gameplay correctness and player experience.
Plan and execute tests with no explicit requirements, determining areas of risk and best tests to mitigate them.
Work directly with mode teams in Shanghai and Helsinki to understand test scope, agree on quality bars, and plan resourcing and timelines.
Scale testing coverage by managing onsite QA testers and external QA vendors.
Design, develop and apply testing processes for games to improve quality and player experience.
Raise the bar across the wider team by bringing proven practices from the Chinese games industry into a global studio.
Stay up to date with new testing tools, test strategies and AI tooling adoption to QA work.
Support the development of the game with any additional skills.

At least 8 years of professional experience as a Game Tester, ideally with experience working on both new and live games.
Strong hands-on experience in testing games.
Proven experience owning quality for a feature or game area end-to-end, including the final quality call before release.
Experience managing both onsite QA teams and external QA vendors, and scaling test coverage up and down as needed.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
Comfortable getting productive in an unfamiliar proprietary codebase.
Practical experience using AI tools to improve QA efficiency or clear appetite and aptitude for building that into work.
Good knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems, with experience testing games on both platforms.
Good understanding of the quality risks that live competitive systems carry.
Strong cross-discipline communication skills.

Leadership or mentoring experience.
Hands-on test automation experience, including scripting and CI-integrated test suites.
Experience working in a distributed team across time zones.
Experience testing across a range of game genres and formats.
