About the role
- Envoy Global is seeking a hands-on Senior Management Accountant to oversee financial activities for the UK business unit and international entities in India, Hong Kong, and Germany. The role focuses on month-end and year-end reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and process improvement within a global mobility environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly close activities including complex journal entries and variance analysis.
- Reconcile balance sheets monthly with audit-ready documentation.
- Ensure revenue and cost recognition align with GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare, review, and file VAT returns and manage tax obligations.
- Serve as a key finance member for external audits.
- Develop process improvements to enhance monthly close and internal controls.
- Participate in annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
- Develop daily cash reporting and 13-week cash projections.
- Manage banking transactions, foreign exchange, and currency risk.
- Mentor and develop finance team members.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting.
- Qualified professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
- 3-5 years of previous experience as a management accountant in a similar industry.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE 50, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including functions and pivot tables.
- Experience working in a strong control environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
