- At Formlabs, we’re building the tools that make it possible for anyone to bring their ideas to life, from cutting-edge products to life-saving medical devices. Our 3D printing technology powers innovation at more than 50,000 industry leaders worldwide, including Apple, Google, Tesla, New Balance, and NASA. About the role
- Formlabs is hiring a Senior PR Manager to own how the press, analysts and the wider maker community see our company and products.
- You will plan and run earned media for product launches, company news and executive visibility, working closely with product marketing, brand, social and leadership.

- Build and run the always-on, proactive PR strategy, tied to company goals.
- Grow relationships with business, technology, design, manufacturing and trade press, plus key industry analysts.
- Collaborate on the product reviews program, getting printers and materials to reviewers and tracking coverage.
- Raise the profile of Formlabs executives through interviews, bylines, podcasts and speaking opportunities.
- Write and edit press releases, briefing documents, FAQs and Q&A prep.
- Own issues and crisis communications.
- Report on share of voice, coverage quality, message pull-through and impact on traffic and pipeline.
Requirements
- 8+ years in PR or communications, with at least 3 years leading programs at a tech, hardware or consumer electronics company or agency.
- A track record of top-tier coverage in national business, technology and trade media.
- Strong existing relationships with tech and business journalists.
- Experience running major product launches with embargoes, review units and global timing.
- Excellent writing and editing, with a sharp sense of what makes a story.
- Comfort explaining technical products in plain language. Curiosity about 3D printing and manufacturing is a must; prior experience is a plus.
- Ability to measure PR results and tie them to business goals.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience running influencer and creator programs, especially with YouTube, TikTok and Instagram creators in maker, design, engineering or tech.
- Relationships with creators and an understanding of how they work, from sponsored content and gifting to long-term ambassador partnerships.
