About the role
- The Senior Software Engineer will join the Authentication & Tokenization team to build and maintain high-performance, distributed systems.
- This role involves end-to-end ownership of mission-critical architecture, from initial design to deployment, impacting global enterprise merchants.
- Engineers work on core financial data processes and infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a distributed high-performance platform.
- Take full responsibility for new functionality from initial design to live deployment.
- Identify and improve platform components to enhance robustness and scalability.
- Collaborate across teams and time zones to execute projects.
- Review code and provide constructive feedback.
- Help maintain core financial data processes and finance infrastructure.
- Launch code updates frequently to impact businesses and shoppers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with object-oriented programming languages (Java).
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to take ownership and lead projects.
- Experience writing testable code.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in languages other than English.
