About the role
- The Prime team is building a prime brokerage platform for institutional clients, including hedge funds and market makers.
- This role involves full-stack ownership of correctness-critical systems, ranging from backend settlement and lending services to frontend client and operations dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and end-to-end delivery of features across the full stack.
- Own client- and ops-facing journeys including onboarding, account configuration, and reporting.
- Author detailed designs and break work into reviewable steps.
- Define failure states, invariants, and recovery processes for financial flows.
- Uplevel the team through design-focused code review and mentorship.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support business needs.
Requirements
- Track record of independently delivering complex, high-ambiguity projects in production.
- Strong full-stack range with modern backend and component-based frontend experience.
- Hands-on experience building financial systems such as ledgers, risk engines, settlement, or KYC.
- Strong design judgment regarding failure paths, invariants, and constraints.
- Excellent communication skills to drive alignment and provide design-level feedback.
