Influence technical strategy, roadmap planning, architecture standards, and prioritization across teams.
Establish and promote engineering practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, and security.
Mentor Staff Engineers, senior engineers, and technical leads.
Lead or support modernization efforts across legacy and modern systems.
Identify practical ways to use AI-assisted engineering tools and automation to improve development workflows.

12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Deep experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
Proven experience providing technical leadership across multiple teams or complex technical domains.
Strong experience with backend services, APIs, integrations, data flows, and cloud-based architectures.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Kotlin.
Strong knowledge of system design, software architecture, scalability, reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, alerting, and production operations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with telephony, contact center platforms, IVR, call routing, voice systems, or customer engagement technologies.
Experience with platforms such as Twilio, Amazon Connect, Genesys, Five9, NICE, Cisco, or Avaya.
Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms, vendor APIs, or enterprise systems.
Experience in fintech, financial services, lending, risk, servicing, collections, or customer support.
Experience modernizing legacy systems and improving the reliability of business-critical platforms.
Experience evaluating emerging technologies and applying them pragmatically.
Experience using AI-enabled engineering tools, copilots, or automation platforms.
