About the role
- AppsFlyer is seeking a Senior SW Engineer to join the Analytics group, which is responsible for showing clients the stories their data is telling.
- The role involves developing end-to-end client-facing and data infrastructure features, from data processing to database choice and modeling implementation.
- Engineers work with big data, microservices, and production management at massive scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end both client facing and data infrastructure features from data processing to database choice and modeling implementation
- Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to deliver complex products
- Analyze and improve performance, scalability and stability of our systems, environments and tools
- Speak at meetups, write blog posts, speak at conferences, contribute to existing open source projects and release new open source software
Requirements
- 5+ years of development experience with a passion for excellence
- Experience in large scale data pipelines
- Experience with large-scale production databases
- Experience with high throughput, low latency, mission-critical distributed systems
- Great communication skills in English
- B.Sc. in Computer Sciences or an equivalent
Preferred qualifications
- Strong server-side skills
- Experience production grade BigQuery ETL and DBs
- Experience with Airflow
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Experience with production grade GO BE services
- Experience with production grade Clojure BE services
- An “AI mindset”: stays up to date with the AI landscape, explores tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot, and looks for ways to boost productivity through AI
