The Infrastructure Platform Development team builds and maintains the foundational infrastructure layer that powers all Agoda's services.
This is a 10-month contract role based in Bangkok, Thailand, focused on designing, building, scaling, and maintaining internal infrastructure platforms.

Design, develop and implement your own ideas to contribute to Agoda’s infrastructure platform, with a main focus on maintaining and enhancing our self-built infrastructure management system.
Work on interesting challenges unique to the modern platform infrastructure we maintain, including scaling, reliability and automation.
Interact with technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry and other industry-leading tools to build and optimize our infrastructure.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills (working language is English).
Programming experience in a modern language (preferably Python or Go), academic or professional.
Basic knowledge of Development ecosystems like Git and Docker.
High sense of ownership, self-driven mindset and willingness to learn.
Comfortable working in the Linux command line environment including Bash scripting.

Experience in using modern CI/CD systems (GitLab or GitHub Actions) and creating CI/CD pipelines with configuration as code (e.g., YAML, Bash).
Expertise in managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters or OpenStack environments.
Advanced Docker knowledge, including creating Dockerfiles, building multi-stage builds and troubleshooting complex container-related issues.
Experience with hardware management APIs such as Redfish, ILO, DRAC or similar.
Knowledge of physical architecture at scale, including building resilient, highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
