- Harvey is seeking a Software Engineer to plan, build, and maintain full-stack application features and engineering infrastructure for its SaaS platform.
- The role involves leveraging PWA technologies to support scalability and performance while working within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and maintain full-stack application features and engineering infrastructure.
- Utilize React, TypeScript, CSS, TailwindCSS, and Python to develop the SaaS platform.
- Leverage Progressive Web Application (PWA) technologies to support performance and scalability.
- Monitor cloud-based engineering infrastructure.
- Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Scale large software systems to support low-latency, high-volume usage.
- Collaborate with teammates and customers to identify, diagnose, and resolve engineering and product issues.
- Serve in an on-call rotation to manage production escalations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a product-focused, full-stack software engineering role.
- Experience developing full-stack web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Experience implementing user interfaces using CSS and TailwindCSS.
- Experience developing application functionality using Python.
- Experience leveraging AI-first processes and tools to improve engineering quality and velocity.
- Experience building and maintaining fast-growing SaaS applications.
- Experience leveraging Progressive Web Application (PWA) technologies.
- Experience designing and maintaining cloud-based software infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience scaling large software systems to support low-latency and high-volume usage.
Workplace
- Must appear in office 3 days per week.
- WFH permissible 2 days per week.
