As a Software Engineer on Account Security, you will help protect Roblox users, creators, and the broader community from bad actors.
You'll join Roblox's Safety organization, whose mission is to become the leader in civil immersive online communities by keeping accounts secure and free from compromise.

Own the design, implementation and landing of features to prevent, detect and mitigate account takeovers.
Collaborate cross-organizationally with partner teams in InfoSec, Economy, User, and the broader Roblox Safety org.
Help define how goals get accomplished and have real influence over product direction.
Instrument and analyze user interaction data (A/B tests, usage metrics) to inform design decisions and maximize product impact.
Own implementation end to end across the stack, contributing in GoLang, Python, Typescript and Lua as projects require, using AI tools wherever possible.

3+ years of experience in Software Engineering/Computer Science
Experience working on user facing applications or services
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as GoLang, Python, C#, and Javascript.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
A strong commitment to designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that prioritize user safety, data integrity, and compliance with safety policies.

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
