This role involves taking projects from initial prototyping through to production, partnering with core engineering teams to generalize solutions into product features.
Engineers in this role will design agentic systems, implement LLM integrations, and work directly with clients to validate AI behavior.

Build AI-powered agents and tools end-to-end from problem identification to production.
Design and implement LLM integrations including prompt engineering, function calling, and structured outputs.
Define evaluation criteria and build test harnesses for AI systems.
Work directly with clients to understand workflows, validate AI behavior, and iterate toward production quality.
Partner with core engineering teams to generalize client-specific work into product features.
Contribute to shared AI infrastructure such as agent frameworks and deployment pipelines.
Monitor and maintain production AI systems with attention to reliability, cost, and performance.

2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Professional experience with Python.
Experience working with LLM APIs including function calling and structured outputs.
Comfort with SQL for data exploration and building data-grounded AI workflows.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Experience building agentic systems such as multi-step tool use and durable workflows.
Experience with additional backend languages, specifically Java.
Familiarity with financial data including portfolios, transactions, securities, and accounting.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure like AWS and container-based deployments.
Experience with evaluation frameworks or methodologies for measuring AI system quality.

Remote role based in the United States.
