About the role
- C3 AI is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Application Development team to build intuitive, high-performance tools for AI software platforms.
- The role involves building visual tools that enable developers and data scientists to create end-to-end AI applications.
- Engineers will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams while managing the entire software engineering lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain performant and scalable full-stack applications.
- Build and improve visual tools for application development and data science.
- Collaborate with Product Management, User Interaction Designers, and Front-End and Back-End Engineers.
- Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems.
- Proactively strive to improve products and technologies.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with JavaScript, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and web application development.
- Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
- Passion for developing team-oriented solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
- Value end-to-end ownership of projects.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
Preferred qualifications
