About the role
- The Yext Services team is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build custom web and backend solutions for enterprise clients.
- The role involves working within a Scrum development process to deliver end-to-end solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Build, modify and maintain web applications with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
- Build and maintain ETL jobs for data storage and organization in the Yext Knowledge Graph.
- Advise engineering and business stakeholders on best practices, compatibility, and tradeoffs.
- Augment development tooling to improve software quality, iteration speed, and maintainability.
- Bridge the gap between engineering and product teams.
- Write clean, tested, and well-structured code.
Requirements
- BS or above in Computer Science, a related field, or similar college level education.
- Comfortable with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to move between backend and frontend technologies.
- Openness to new technologies and creative solutions.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced high growth startup environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Full Stack technologies including React, TypeScript, Node JS, Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong understanding and working experience in Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Experience with data structures such as lists, arrays, hash tables, hash maps, stacks, queues, trees, heaps, and graphs.
- Knowledge of sorts, searches, graph traversals, recursion, and iterative algorithms.
- Contribution to open-source projects.
