About the role
- OKX is seeking impact-driven Mobile Engineers to build and scale high-performance native mobile applications in Hong Kong.
- The role involves working on core product ecosystems, including high-concurrency trading engines and user growth systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modular, reliable native mobile features for iOS or Android.
- Drive technical decision-making on mobile architecture, API design, performance optimization, and network resiliency.
- Partner with Product Management, Design, and Backend Engineering to translate requirements into mobile experiences.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while upholding standards for code reviews, testing, and security.
- Actively apply AI coding tools to build and maintain repeatable personal AI development workflows.
- Leverage modern development tools and automated CI/CD pipelines to maintain rapid iteration speeds.
Requirements
- Solid software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience building, shipping, or maintaining production native mobile applications.
- Proficiency in iOS development with Swift/Objective-C or Android development with Kotlin/Java.
- Strong understanding of mobile system design, clean architecture, memory management, testing, and performance tuning.
- Ability to actively apply AI coding tools in your workflow and optimize personal engineering productivity.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership of end-to-end features and drive execution independently.
