The Money as a Service (MaaS) team oversees Stripe's core financial products, building the future of money management while supporting existing capabilities. This role focuses on extending Global Payouts and the Treasury Network to support businesses in the APAC region.

Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and large-scale systems that handle billions of money movement requests
Debug and solve critical production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
Mentor engineers to help them grow
Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to build new features at large-scale
Improve internal engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Collaborate effectively in a distributed and hybrid team

2-6 years of industry software engineering experience (excluding internships and co-ops)
Strong coding skills in any programming language
Strong collaboration skills
Ability to thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
Entrepreneurial mindset
Interest in working as a generalist across varying technologies and stacks

Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems
Good understanding and practical knowledge in cloud based services (e.g. gRPC, GraphQL, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud services such as AWS, etc.)
