GHX is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team that powers intelligent, AI-augmented automation across multiple product lines with document understanding.
This role involves leading through team leads or senior engineers rather than running delivery for a single team directly, setting technical direction for shared platform capabilities, and owning end-to-end outcomes.

Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team spanning platform engineering, product-line delivery teams, and HiTL/analytics.
Set technical direction for shared platform capabilities that multiple product-line teams depend on.
Build and grow leads and senior engineers within each team.
Own the vendor relationship for external development partners.
Establish org-wide engineering culture, standards, and practices that scale consistently.
Guide architectural and design decisions across product-line teams.
Champion AI-augmented engineering practices across all teams.
Interface directly with business, product, operations and support stakeholders.
Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability standards.
Collaborate with the Security team to resolve findings and complete compliance reviews.

15+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years managing engineering managers, team leads, or senior tech leads.
Demonstrated experience running two-three teams with a shared platform layer and independent delivery teams or pods.
Experience building document understanding or intelligent document processing systems at production scale.
Solid experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production software at a platform level serving multiple consuming teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
