About the role
- The Sr. SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, performance, and availability of SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and related cloud environments.
- This role provides technical leadership for system administration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, integrations, and operational support.
- Based in Costa Rica, the position plays a key role in maintaining reliable and scalable enterprise SAP operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, security, performance, and availability of SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and related cloud environments
- Provide technical leadership for system administration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, integrations, and operational support
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, compliance, and business continuity across the SAP landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of SAP Basis experience
- Strong hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA production environments
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industry
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications
- SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Business Technology Platform certification is preferred
