About the role
- As a Sr Software Engineer at Zuora, you will design and develop highly distributed, performant, and reliable systems that form the foundation of Zuora's onboarding capabilities.
- You will build intelligent agentic capabilities and implementation partners that accelerate customer time-to-value and transform quote-to-cash workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, flexible features that power Zuora's next-generation onboarding platform.
- Partner with senior engineers and architects to deliver a high-impact product roadmap.
- Develop robust APIs, background services, and data pipelines that are both efficient and developer-friendly.
- Contribute to system designs and technical discussions that improve performance, reliability, and developer experience.
- Build intelligent agents to streamline and resolve complex customer onboarding workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6 - 10 years of hands-on product development experience, ideally within SaaS or B2B software environments.
- Hands-on experience or deep understanding of building AI agents and integrating complex business workflows into agentic architectures.
- Strong skills in backend API development or full-stack engineering.
- Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
- Experience applying low-level design principles in real-world projects.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks, IDEs, testing, and documentation best practices.
