The Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Construction will support construction projects that expand or optimize infrastructure for the Starship Program. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing contracts, and driving cost reduction initiatives within a fast-paced procurement organization.

Work directly with key internal stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process.
Create sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk and meet targets for payment terms, cash, and cost savings.
Develop and maintain internal stakeholder relationships to create strategic sourcing models.
Communicate, manage, and drive compliance to category strategies.
Identify and execute cost reduction projects, including planning, coordination, and progress updates.
Perform advanced quantitative and business process analyses to identify financial impacts.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure supplier SLAs and KPIs.
Conduct research, benchmarking, and market analysis for assigned categories.
Create contract documents in collaboration with the legal department and manage supplier performance.
Maximize value and cost savings through strategic negotiations.

Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
Alternatively, 6+ years of experience in the aforementioned fields.
Must be able to travel up to 20% of the work week.
Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
Must be based onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL or Starbase, TX.
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.

Construction project management experience and/or construction cost estimate experience
Familiarity or experience in purchasing or similar procurement related experience
Experience in industrial engineering, construction management, and/or facilities management
Strong budget tracking and cost analytical skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience managing large scale industrial and commercial construction projects
Strong contract negotiation and document management skills
Technical knowledge in MS Office Suite, SQL, and PowerBI
