About the role
- Sustainable Talent is partnering with a client to scale its growing manufacturing organization by seeking a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist.
- The role involves partnering closely with recruiters and business leaders to build strong talent pipelines across automotive, manufacturing, battery, energy, and emerging technical skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for specialized and critical roles.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Conduct market mapping and provide talent intelligence on candidate availability, competitors, and emerging skill sets.
- Partner with recruiters and business leaders to understand hiring priorities and talent needs.
- Lead complex and niche searches, including roles within manufacturing, battery and Battery Energy Storage Systems/Solutions (BESS) environments.
- Maintain accurate candidate activity and pipelines within CRM and ATS platforms.
- Deliver a strong candidate experience from initial outreach through recruiter handoff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong talent sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally within automotive, manufacturing, energy, or technical environments.
- Proven success sourcing and engaging passive candidates for difficult-to-fill roles.
- Experience with CRM and ATS platforms.
- Strong research, market mapping, Boolean search, social sourcing, and networking skills.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work EST hours.
Preferred qualifications
- Eightfold experience is highly preferred.
- Experience sourcing within the battery ecosystem, including battery manufacturing, energy storage, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of or exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems/Solutions (BESS).
- Experience sourcing talent from automotive, advanced manufacturing, energy, or adjacent industries.
