About the role
- Conviva is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between traditional on-premises infrastructure and an expanding multi-cloud footprint.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing, scaling, and maintaining on-premises infrastructure while expanding and supporting environments across AWS, GCP, and OCI.
- Design, implement, and audit secure authentication and authorization workflows (OIDC, SAML, Cloud IAM, Least Privilege policies) across hybrid environments.
- Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, repeatable, and rapid code deployments.
- Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems and track down root causes when complex, distributed systems misbehave.
- Embed security best practices directly into the infrastructure lifecycle including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance-as-code.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering role.
- Solid hands-on experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing) for both cloud and physical hardware.
- Foundational or deep experience in at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or OCI), with a strong conceptual understanding of how to translate those skills to the others.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (managed or bare-metal).
