About the role
- The Staff Software Engineer will join the Manage Content team to design, develop, and own solutions that extend Bazaarvoice’s client experience portfolio.
- This role involves leading technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and driving product outcomes through client-impact-focused leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and own a range of solutions for the client experience portfolio.
- Own architectural decisions across one or more products from design through delivery.
- Champion clean, secure, and high-performing code.
- Lead troubleshooting with insight into runtime health, logging, and platform observability.
- Drive continuous improvement and turn technical ideas into production-ready execution.
- Design and advocate for AI-driven workflows to augment engineering productivity.
- Engage with clients, PMs, designers, and leadership to solve problems.
- Coach and mentor engineers technically and professionally.
- Balance hands-on technical contributions with strategic guidance.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in cloud architectural patterns including microservices, serverless, streaming, CI/CD, data management, security, and observability.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across all audiences.
- Willingness to undergo a basic AccessNI check prior to starting.
