About the role
- Formlabs is seeking operations leaders and entrepreneurs to act as mini-CEOs, driving product strategy and business outcomes across their operations teams.
- This role is designed for individuals with startup founder or product leadership experience who can build and scale manufacturing, supply chain, and fulfillment processes.
- The position is not tied to a single opening; candidates will be matched to specific operational roles based on their background and impact potential.
Responsibilities
- Define product strategy and vision by identifying unmet user needs and market gaps.
- Drive P&L results by identifying new market opportunities and scaling existing business units.
- Create and lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, operators, and designers.
- Hire and mentor the next generation of Formlabs leaders.
- Make high-stakes decisions impacting core technology and business trajectory.
- Manage the full lifecycle of products from ideation to scale.
- Build and manage manufacturing, supply chain, and fulfillment operations.
Requirements
- Proven entrepreneurial experience, such as building a business or significant venture.
- Direct experience creating multi-disciplinary technology products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and hire talent.
- High tolerance for risk and a bias for action.
- Ability to work at the intersection of engineering, sales, manufacturing, and marketing.
Preferred qualifications
- Founding your own business
- MBA degree
- Experience in a consulting role
- Familiarity with manufacturing, regulatory, or product standards and compliance in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences
- Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials
- Familiarity with Tableau
- Familiarity with SQL
